Cultivar Description | Gelato 33

Hey y’all! We’ve got some Gelato 33 dropping and wanted to give y’all a little back story on this harvest.

Gelato phenotypes all stem from the fusion of Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint Cookies, yet Gelato 33 stands out with its distinctive characteristics. It leans towards the indica side of hybrid dominance and boasts medium-sized flower buds adorned with purple streaks and calyxes arranged in a rosette formation. These buds are complemented by dark green sugar leaves and prominent light orange pistils, creating an enticing visual contrast. The dense coverage of trichomes lends the flowers a glistening quality when exposed to light.

When you take a whiff of Gelato 33, you’re greeted with a delightful blend of sweet and sour gas aromas, finishing with a tart cherry note. This fragrance bears a striking resemblance to Lemon Cherry Gelato and Feria varieties. The painstaking cultivation process involves an indoor controlled environment, where the cultivators introduce supplemental carbon dioxide and employ double-ended HPS lights. They nurture these plants in rockwool using drip irrigation techniques.

Our dedicated partners at Malibu Gold oversee the cultivation process, ensuring the highest quality standards. The harvest takes place on-site, with our skilled team meticulously wet trimming the flowers by hand before promptly freezing them. Subsequently, we transform these meticulously cared-for buds into Live Cured Flower at our state-of-the-art facility in Santa Ana.

For those eager to experience Gelato 33 as Live Cured Flower, you can find it available in jars, with each eighth containing 2 carefully selected buds. The availability may vary depending on the retailer you choose. So check out our online store to shop directly or go to our map and find a licensed retailer near you!!
